Leota Lavona (Houser) Nuttall, age 96, a lifelong Atoka County resident in the High Hill Community was born on Friday, November 17, 1922, to John Henry and Mary Hestella (Bagby) Houser, at Post Oak, OK. Leota passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Oklahoma City, OK. She attended  Post Oak School. Leota was a housewife, gardener, seamstress, and farmer.  She married Robert "Bob" Otho Nuttall on Friday, June 4th, 1948 at Denison, TX. They had 45 wonderful years together before his passing on December 12, 1993. Leota was member of High Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing, playing cards and dominoes.

Leota is survived by her sons, Don Houser and wife Ellen of Caney, OK; Charles Nuttall and wife Reatha of Prague, OK, Dorman Nuttall and wife Glenda of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Brent Houser and wife Roberta of Duncanville, TX, Andy Houser and wife Martina of Sherman, TX, Jimmy Nuttall and wife Samantha of Wapanucka, OK, Dana Hall of Durant, OK, Lori Dunlap and husband Chris of Prague, OK, Angie Nuttall of Atoka, OK, Stephanie Henderson of Atoka, OK, Kelly Nuttall of Prague ,OK; 16 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren that is near and dear to her heart. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Leota is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Mary Hestella (Bagby) Houser; husband, Robert "Bob" Otho Nuttall; son, Cecil Gerald Nuttall; siblings, Polly Houser, William "Buck" Houser,  Pearl Parham, Jessie Price, David Houser, Robert Houser, Benjamine "Benny" Houser, Issac "Ike" Houser, Lloyde Houser.
