Lesley Dee Hunt, age 63, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, May 7, 1959, to Robert Earl and Helen (Jack) Hunt, at Atoka, OK. Dee passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School with the class of 1977. Dee was a licensed plumber and a maintenance supervisor at McCloud Correctional Facility. He also worked at Mechanical Services and was a backhoe operator for the City of Atoka. He married Leslie Lynn (Nave) on Tuesday, November 20th, 2018 at Atoka, OK. Dee attended Caney Freewill Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, smoke meats, raise chickens, country dance, and especially play with his grandchildren.
Dee is survived by his wife, Leslie Lynn Hunt of Atoka, OK; children, Misti Crawley and husband Gary of Kiowa, OK, Zach Hunt and wife Jessica of Lane, OK; step children, Emily Ebert and husband Jamie of Yukon, OK, Shelby Stidham of Wichita Falls, TX; grandchildren, Chloe Crawley, Maggie Hunt, Cooper Hunt, Jett Hunt, Chassen Hunt, Asher Hunt, Gentry Ebert, Jaci Graham; siblings, Frankie Hunt and wife Barbara of Atoka, OK, Jesse Hunt and wife Alice of Atoka, OK, Ann Lee of Leavenworth, KS, Darrell Hunt and wife Letha of Marion, OR, Sharon Coffee and husband Ronald of Pauls Valley, OK, Rickey Hunt and wife Joyce of Bentley, OK, Wanette Dodd and husband Roy Dean of Stringtown, OK, Glenda Thompson and husband Doyle of Grove, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dearly loved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl and Helen (Jack) Hunt; nieces, Deborah Hunt, Megan White, Jolee White
