NAME: Leslie Edwin Young, age 74, a long-time Daisy, OK resident.

BORN: He was born on Wednesday, January 28, 1942, to Ira and Lillie Angie (Smith) Young, at Lampasas, TX.

PASSED AWAY: Leslie passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Coalgate, OK.

AGE: 74 years, 8 months and 21 days.

EDUCATION: He graduated from Rankin High School in Texas in 1960. He attended Sul Ross State University where he studied business administration.

OCCUPATION: Leslie was a Supervisor at Bridgestone-Firestone. He also worked at Longview Savings and loan company as a loan officer. Leslie was CEO of Coast County trucking company, He transported munitions to east coast during Desert Storm. He has worked for families first with foster care for children for 8 years.

MARRIED: He married Joyce (Vaughan) on Thursday, February 7th, 1994 at Ft. Smith, AR.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Leslie was a christian and had been saved as a young man. He enjoyed riding ATV's, sports, especially Texas A&M football and golf. Leslie loved life and loved people.

GRANDDAUGHTER: Madison Eddleton of Austin, TX

SISTER: Mickey Peoples and husband Joe of Austin, TX

MOTHER-IN-LAW: Versie Vaughn of Pittsburg, OK

SISTER-IN-LAWS: Bonnie Johnston and husband Jerry of Pittsburg, OK

Donna Byington of Billings, MT

along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
