Obituary

Liddie Mae Meadows, age 97, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, lived at Boggy Depot during her childhood, after marrying she lived South of Tushka the remainder of her life, was born on Sunday, February 24, 1924, to Perry Conreth "Bub" and Lillie Ellen (Kelly) Taylor, at Boggy Depot, OK. Mae passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home in Atoka, OK surrounded by her loved ones. She attended Boggy Depot School and graduated from Tushka High School in 1942. Mae was a housewife and homemaker. She married Ralph Eugene Meadows on Tuesday, December 12th, 1944 at Austin, TX. They celebrated 73 years of marriage before his passing on February 5, 2018. Liddie Mae was the last living charter member of High Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of DAV Auxiliary #60, Atoka Chapter. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, working Bible crossword puzzles and loved raising her boys and grandchildren.
Liddie Mae is survived by her 4 sons, Ronald Meadows and wife Pat of Sand Springs, OK, Gary Meadows and wife Janet of Tushka, OK, Dennis Meadows and wife Beth of Tushka, OK, Rickey Meadows and wife Karen of Atoka, OK; granddaughters, Terri Hamilton and husband Tom of Tulsa, OK, Melissa Banker and husband Brett of Sand Springs, OK, Misty Reinbold and husband Brandon of Trimble, MO, Amanda Blue and husband Brandon of Milburn, OK; grandsons, Randol Meadows of Sand Springs, OK, Kevin Meadows and wife Mendy of Tushka, OK, Ryan Meadows and wife Sherri of Tushka, OK, Dustin Meadows and wife Candi of Tushka, OK, Jesse Meadows and wife Cayla of Tishomingo, OK; 13 great grandsons, Reid Meadows, Ben Banker, Jonah Banker, Matthew Hamilton and wife Kayla, Luke Hamilton, Seth Meadows, Grant Reinbold, Zeb Meadows, Noah Blue, Samuel Blue, Sy Meadows, Elijah Blue, Jed Meadows; 11 great granddaughters, Nikki Coonce and husband Cody, Markie Feuerhelm and husband Kevin, Presley Banker, Josie Blue, Tatum Blue, Lydia Blue, Hallie Blue, Anna Grace Meadows, Zoe Meadows, Tilly Reinbold, Clara Reinbold; brothers, DC Taylor and wife Delita of Caney, OK, Richard Taylor of Ardmore, OK; sister, Vera Marable of Broken Arrow, OK; great great granddaughters, Madison Coonce, Olivia Coonce, Sloan Hamilton; great great grandsons, Finn Hamilton, Parker Logan Phillps that is due in February; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Liddie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Bub and Lillie Taylor; husband, Ralph Meadows; siblings, Mary Ellen Taylor, Thurman Taylor, JB Taylor, Mildred Jones.
