Lillian Faye (Jones) Cagle, age 69, a Coalgate resident. She was born on December 8, 1951, to Clyde Jack and Edith Geneva (Martin) Jones, at Centrahoma, OK. Faye passed away on May 5, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Centrahoma school & graduated from Tupelo high school. Faye attended Murray State College. She also attended East Central University where she received her bachelor's degree in elementary education & she received her master's degree in special education. Faye taught at Cottonwood Public Schools from 1976 to 2005. She retired briefly and then returned to the school she loved & continued to teach. She dedicated 45 years of her life to education. She impacted the lives of numerous children and was known for her "old school" teaching methods. She married Alvin Vernon Cagle, Jr. on February 14, 1978 in Leader, Oklahoma. They spent 43 wonderful years together. Faye was a member of the Oklahoma Educator's Association, District 12 Choctaw Seniors, OHCE After 5, Coal County Fair board, and was a 4-H leader for many years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, shopping, traveling, and trips to the casino.

Brothers: Billy Clyde Jones & wife Pam of Tupelo, OK

Paul Jones & Amanda of Tupelo, OK
