Lillie Mae (Callicoatt) Selby, age 87, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, February 3, 1936, to Will Edward and Tempie Abbigail Katheryne (McKay) Callicoatt, at Three Rivers, TX. Lillie passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Atoka, OK. She attended Three Rivers School in Texas and graduated Atoka High School. Lillie was a housewife and homemaker, secretary for E.L. Selby Plumbing and was involved in the family business, Selby Hardware. She married Elzie "Lee" Franklin Selby on Tuesday, June 1st, 1954 at Durant, OK. They celebrated 46 years together before his passing on January 27, 2000. Lillie Mae was an active member of New Zion Methodist Church and the Forest Hill Community.  She enjoyed reading, fishing, camping, cooking, hiking and loved playing with the grandchildren.
Lillie is survived by her children, Lois Selby Knowles and husband William of Sherman, TX, Michael Selby of Atoka, OK, Kevin Selby of California, Joyce Noah of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Shawn Selby and wife Cindel of Atoka, OK, Aaron Selby of Atoka, OK, Devon Noah of Atoka, OK, Lexie Noah of the Air Force in the U.K., Cody Knowles of Sherman, TX; great grandchildren, Addy Selby, Corbin Selby, Cash Selby, Ayden Selby, Lariah Selby, Galileo Knowles; nieces, Betty Sue Roberds, Jo Franke; great niece, Elizabeth Bednorz; very dear friends, Hazel Lane, Jackie Riley, Ann Chavers, Bonnie Hogan; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Will Edward and Tempie Abbigail Katheryne (McKay) Callicoatt; husband, Lee Selby; brother, George William "Newt" Callicoatt; sister, Lauvinia Jane Elizabeth Roberds; great grandchild, Miles Selby.
