OBITUARY
Linda Olene (Latimer) Allen, age 75, an Atoka, OK resident lived in Oklahoma City a few years and also at Seabrooke, TX, but has lived in Atoka most of her life. She was born on Wednesday, April 19, 1944, to Albert and Mary Lee (Lynn) Latimer, at Lane, OK. Linda passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Sherman, TX. She graduated from Tushka High School and received an Early Childhood Certificate from Kiamichi Technology Center.  Linda worked at Kiamichi Vo-Tech in Child Care and retired April 30, 2007  from the Department of Human Services in Atoka and Durant as a secretary.  She married Carl Mark Allen on Friday, January 30th, 1976 at Moore, OK. They celebrated 36 years of marriage before his passing on September 26, 2012.  Linda attended the First United Methodist Church in Atoka. She enjoying working puzzles, reading, flowers, and especially loved her grandkids.
Linda is survived by her son, Travis Dale Allen and wife Brenda of Lane, OK, daughter, Jamie Michele Allen of Lane, OK; grandchildren, Erica, Alisa, Leslie, Keith Allen, Tyler Snow, Chance Allen, Josie Nowlin; sisters, Marlene Day and husband and Nelson of Lane, OK, Helen Jacobs and husband Tim of Duncan, OK, Vickie Cartwright  of Cromwell, OK; brother, John Latimer and wife Paula of Lane, OK; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Lee (Lynn) Latimer; sister, Zelen Lou Latimer; brother-in-law, Larry Cartwright.
