Linda Sue Burwell Hearrell, 77, was born October 16, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK the oldest daughter to Orbra Lee Burwell and Dorothy Mae Selby Burwell. She departed this life at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 14 days in Chouteau, OK.
Linda Sue, or Susie to her brothers and sisters, grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Putnam City Schools. She was saved in 1955 in the Baptist Church in Bethany, OK and was later baptized there along with her parents and oldest brother. She met the love of her life, Bobby Hearrell, at the age of 17 in Atoka, OK while visiting her Granny Selby and that was it! They were married in December of that year, had two daughters, Jana Sue and Lori Ann and shared over 50 years of marriage. Linda Sue stayed home until her daughters went to school. She loved to cook and to sew. Her daughters were often seen, much to their delight, in matching outfits from head to toe. She worked over the years in retail, and later began working as a school paraprofessional, which she did for many years.  Linda Sue was very close to her family and enjoyed every Sunday visits at her mom and dad's where the family played dominoes and cards, ate good meals, visited and laughed. She loved talking about growing up with her brothers, Leon and Jimmy, and her baby sister Cheryl as well as the many foster children that lived in their home.
Linda Sue became Nanny to Kera, Robbie, Erin, Danielle, and Kelsey and they brought her so much joy. Her joy became even sweeter when she became great Nanny to 13 great grandkids: Sarah, Lauren, Jackson, Exodus, Egan, Ewan, Kevin, Connor, Olivia, Reese, Cade, Cora and Declan; and the sweetest joy of all was becoming great, great Nanny to Jameson last year. She was very proud to wear the title of a great, great, grandmother, but she was just Nanny to them all.
Linda Sue is survived by her brother Jimmy Burwell of Pryor Ok, sister, Cheryl McClure and husband Larry of Pryor, OK, daughters Jana Luquette and husband George of Chickasha, Lori Helton and husband Kenny of Locust Grove, Ok, her grandchildren, sisters in law, Vada Glenn, Alpha Mae Cherry, Linda Hearrell and Irene Hearrell, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hearrell, parents, Orbra and Dorothy (Selby) Burwell, brothers, Sammy and Leon Burwell, sister Paulette Burwell, and sisters and brothers in law who meant the world to her.
