Linda Marie Eskue, age 76, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Thursday, June 9, 1949, to Jack Garrett and Rose Marie (Hardin) Chitwood, at Atoka, OK. Linda passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at her home in Atoka, OK. She attended Atoka Public Schools and graduated from Atoka High School with the Class of '67. Linda started in the Atoka School system and worked her way to secretary to the Superintendent and Treasury until she retired. She married John Dale Eskue on Saturday, June 10th,1967 at her parents' house in Atoka, Oklahoma. They spent 46 years together before his passing in 2013. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atoka, Oklahoma. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, reading, birdwatching, and gardening. What she enjoyed the most was singing with her husband and daughters along with their band, Blended Gifts. She loved to hang out with her girls and her grandbabies.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Janet Marie Mitchell and husband Stuart of Arizona City, AZ, Tiffanie Eskue of Atoka, OK, Valerie and husband Chris Hubanks of Sanger, TX, Shawna Golden and husband Michael of Guthrie, OK; granddaughters, Roselyn Flores and husband Isaac along with 3 children, Heather Mitchell along with 2 children, Holly Forrester and husband Joseph along with 2 children, Jessica Tenequer along with 2 children, Tiffany Langston and husband Jared, Sydney Hubanks, Sofia Hubanks, Sierra Ramirez and husband Gabe along with 2 children; grandsons, Jordan Alexander and wife Kimmi along with 3 children, John Eskue, Daniel Hubanks, Samuel Hubanks and fiance Brianna, Christian Hubanks, Luke Hubanks, Aaron Jones, Jonathan Golden; sister, Mary Knop and husband Don of Moore, OK; brother, Terry Chitwood of Moore, OK; nieces, Sara Rose, Melissa, Carolyn, Brenda, Brandi; nephews, Jimmy, Chris, Perry, Eldon, James, Gary; aunt and uncle, Aunt Dean Rivera and Uncle Carlton Hardin, along with many loved cousins and dear friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Garrett and Rose Marie (Hardin) Chitwood; husband, John Dale Eskue; granddaughter, Shyatesa Tenequer; sister, Jackie Messall; brother, Jack Chitwood; along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and in-laws. ******************************************************************************
