Linda C. (Jones) Linscott, age 59, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, October 21, 1959, to Glenn Dale and Louise (Hight) Jones, at Ada, OK.
Linda passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at her home in Atoka, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School in 1977 then went on to attended East Central State and O.U. Linda was a housewife and homemaker. She married Ronald D. Linscott on Tuesday, January 16th, 1979 at Sherman, TX. They celebrated 39years together. Linda was a member of Ward's Chapel Baptist Church. She lived in Sherman when she was first married and worked for Texas Instruments 3 1/2 years, worked as branch manager at Sunbelt Savings Bank in McKinney, TX and was also part owner of The Atoka County Times where she worked 24 years.
Linda is survived by her husband, Ron Linscott of the home in Atoka, OK; son, Ethan Hight Linscott of Tulsa, OK; mother, Louise Cain of Atoka, OK; brother, Mark Cain and wife Linda of Atoka, OK; nephew, Garvin Foster Cain; niece, Mattlyn Raelynn Cain; aunt, Barbara Howard of Farmersville, TX; cousin, Neil Howard of McKinney, TX; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Glenn D. Jones; step father, Foster Cain; maternal grandparents, Jewell and Ellen (Nix) Hight; paternal grandparents, Boyd and Mabel (Ashmore) Jones; uncle, Robert Howard; cousin, Robbin Howard Lampkin.
