Linda Rene (Jemison) Robertson, age 79, a longtime Wapanucka, OK area resident, formerly from El Paso, TX and also lived in Germany many years, was born on Wednesday, October 12, 1938, to James Marshall and Grady Irene (Evans) Jemison, at Durant, OK. Linda passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Oklahoma City, OK.
She attended grade school in Wapanucka, high school in Lawton and college at ECU. Linda was an Office Manager in an insurance office in El Paso, also in Germany prior to El Paso. She was also a substitute teacher in Wapanucka.
She married C.D. Robertson Jr. on Friday, February 5th, 1999 at Wapanucka, OK. They had 19 wonderful years together.  Linda was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pontotoc, OK. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, crafts, charity work and being with her family.
Linda is survived by her husband, C.D. Robertson Jr. of Wapanucka, OK; daughters, Linda Kay Rothblatt of Wapanucka, OK, Karen Hester and husband Michael of Cooper, TX; brother, Thomas Jemison and wife Linda of Wapanucka, OK; grandchildren, Shannon Vernagallo of Fayetteville, NC, Joshua Sussman and wife Amanda of Bromide, OK, Darby Lee and husband Jake of Iowa City, IA,  Patrick McManus and wife Alicia of Greensboro, NC,   Brittany Confer and husband David of Wapanucka, OK,   Maisie Hester of Okinawa, Japan, Gus Hester of Cooper, TX; 8 great grandchildren, Michael, Madison, Hope, Will, Ayden, Jaxon, Patrick, Obie; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, James Marshall and Grady Irene (Evans) Jemison; sons, Thomas Patrick Walkup, Jimmy Walkup.
