Linda Kay (Walkup) RothBlatt, age 68, a longtime Wapanucka, OK resident. She was born on Saturday, November 23, 1957, to Bethel Ray Walkup and Linda Rene (Jemison) Robertson, at El Paso, TX. Linda passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Oklahoma City, OK.

 Linda attended Parkland High School in El Paso, TX, and also attended school while living in Germany. She later continued her education in college, where she earned an associate's degree in accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Linda was a Truck Driver for Warner and several other companies. She worked for the railroad transportation and sold industrial pumps for CL North in EL Paso, TX. Linda also worked for the Chickasaw Nation doing Medical Transportation.

Linda loved exploring the world; first in her truck and later on her own. Her travels took her throughout the Northern Region of Europe, including memorable time in Scotland. She also had a passion for television and movies, and at one point proudly owned a collection of more than 400 DVDs. When she wasn’t working or traveling, Linda found joy in cooking, decorating, and shopping, especially during Christmas. She delighted in going all out for the holidays, filling her home with festive decorations for Christmas and every other celebration throughout the year.

Linda is survived by her children, Shannon Vernagallo of North Carolina, Joshua Sussman and wife Amanda of Milburn, OK, Darby McManus of Orlanda, FL, Patrick McManus and wife Alicia of North Carolina, Brittany McManus and David Confer of Tishomingo, OK; granddaughters, Madison Vernagallo of North Carolina, Hope Sussman of Milburn, OK; grandsons, Michael Vernagallo and Fiancee Kiara of North Carolina, Will Sussman of Milburn, OK, Jaxon Reyes of Kentucky, Paddy Reyes of Orlando, FL, Ayden Confer of Tishomingo, OK, Obidiah Lee of Orlando, FL; great grandsons, Vincent Vernagalloof North Carolina; sister, Karen Hester and husband Michael. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and host of friends that will miss Linda dearly.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Bethel Ray Walkup; mother, Linda (Jemison) Robertson; brothers, Patrick Walkup and Jimmy Walkup.
