Linda Marie Roy, age 60, a lifelong Tushka/Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, January 11, 1963, to George Buford and Ruebye Madlayne (Sorsby) Roy, at Texarkana, TX. Linda passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Tushka High School with the class of 1981. Linda attended Kiamichi Vo-Tech where she studied childcare. Linda was a stocker for INCA in the clothing bank. She was a member of Atoka United Methodist Church, grew up at Pleasant View Baptist Church at Tushka. Linda enjoyed coloring, watching tv shows and movies, singing, fishing, and visiting with her family.

Linda is survived by her sister, Georgette Snow and husband Gerald of Atoka, OK; nephews, John Lafaver and wife Kerri of Caney, OK, Kenneth Lafaver of Atoka, OK; niece, Milisie Nunnelee and husband Bobby of McAlester, OK; great nephews, Draven Postoak of Ada, OK, Bobby Wayne Nunnelee of McAlester, OK, L.J. Lafaver of Caney, OK; great nieces, Jaida Lafaver of Caney, OK, Angela Postoak of Ada, OK, Tamara Flanagan of Ardmore, OK; along with cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Linda was preceded  in death by her parents, George Buford and Ruebye Madlayne (Sorsby) Roy; niece, Lisa Lafaver.
