OBITUARY

NAME: Lloyd James Barton age, 81 a lifelong Atoka County resident.

BORN: He was born on Tuesday February 11, 1936 to Glen W. and Frankie (Allman) Barton at Harmony, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Lloyd passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017, at Atoka, OK

EDUCATION: He attended Forrest Hill, Harmony Schools and Sunset School in Bakersfield, CA.

OCCUPATION: At the age of 16 Lloyd became a pipeliner and worked many years overseas in Iraq, Nigeria, Oman, on a barge in the North Sea and also in Alaska. Lloyd also co-owned and operated H&B Plumbing and worked some for mechanical services doing commercial plumbing and heat and air in Atoka. He also welded for many years along with ranching.

MARRIED: He married Kathleen Henson of July 7, 1957 in Coalgate, OK.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Lloyd was longtime member and was ordained in 1993 as a Deacon at Southside Baptist Church. He loved his church family. Lloyd loved deer and turkey hunting, working on the ranch with his cattle and baling hay.
