Lloyd "Buddy" Ellsworth Durbin Jr., age 75, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Saturday, January 7, 1950, to Lloyd Ellsworth Sr. and Ruby Viola (Griffin) Durbin, at Durant, OK. Buddy passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at his home in Atoka, OK with his loved ones around him. He graduated from Atoka High School with the class of 1969 and then went on to attend ECU. Buddy owned Buddy's Handy Mart, Lloyd's Super Market and enjoyed being a rancher. He married Malinda Rebekah (Mungle) on Thursday, June 4th, 1970 at Atoka, OK. They enjoyed over 54 years of marriage before his passing. Buddy was a member of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, flying, ranching, getting out and visiting with friends, (he never met a stranger), traveling and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Malinda Rebekah Durbin of the home in Atoka, OK; daughter, Michelle Allen and husband Jeff of Atoka, OK; son,     Lloyd "Tré" Ellsworth Durbin III and wife Bethany of Roseburg, OR; grandchildren, Jaxson Allen of Atoka, OK, Mollie Allen of Atoka, OK, Andee Allen and fiancé Nolan Burrage of Atoka, OK, Sean Allen of Atoka, OK; cousins, Brickie Griffin and family, Debbie Coats and family, Kay Voto and family, Chris Thomas and family, David Durbin and family, Carrie Dennis and family, Deborah Durbin and family, Sandra Chapman and family, Sonny Durbin and family, Mary Ferguson and family, Judy Durbin and family; brothers in law, Marshall Mungle and family, Mason Mungle and family, Matthew Mungle and family; sister in law, Marge Garde and family; along with other extended family members and dearly loved friends.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ruby Viola (Griffin) Durbin Sr.
