NAME: Lois Irene (Stephens) Jones, age 95, she was raised at Wards Chapel Community and lived the remainder of her life in Atoka, OK.
BORN: She was born on Saturday, February 11, 1922, to James Edward "Ebb" and Minnie Pearl (Dover) Stephens, at Durant, OK.
PASSED AWAY: Lois passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Atoka, OK.
AGE: 95 years and 20 days.
EDUCATION: Lois attended grade school at Wards Chapel, and graduated from Atoka High School.
OCCUPATION: Lois worked during the war in ship yards in California as a welder. She also worked at McCall insurance and worked a number of years at the Atoka County Clerk and at the Atoka State Bank.
MARRIED: She married Glen Thadeus Jones on Sunday, August 20th, 1939 at Atoka, OK.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Lois was a former member of Wards Chapel Baptist church and an active member of Atoka First Baptist Church. Lois was a longtime member of BPW, Red Rose Garden Club. She was a licensed real estate agent. Lois loved gardening, cooking, ceramics and flowers. She also loved her children and grandchildren. Lois was very active in the Atoka Community.

along with 3 nieces and 2 nephews, many other relatives and many dear and loved friends
