Lois Renay (Callicoat) Lewis, age 76, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, July 25, 1943, to Cecil and Faye (Brown) Callicoat, at home in Bentley, OK. Renay passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Atoka, OK. She attended Blackjack and Atoka High School, later attended Cosmetology School in Stillwater, OK. Renay was a hairdresser, worked at the Fashionette Salon, owned her own salon in Atoka and Kingston, and worked a number of years with her husband at Callicoat Meat Processing. She married Robert R. Lewis on Friday, June 16th, 1967 at Durant, OK, he preceded her in death on April 2, 2015. They celebrated 48 years of marriage. Renay was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Full Gospel Church in Atoka. She bred and raised St. Bernards and Weimaraners, was active in the Southern Oklahoma Appaloosa Horse Association, took care of the concessions at all their functions, loved going camping and spending time with her family.
Renay is survived by her mother, Faye Callicoat of Atoka, OK; sons, Robert Douglas Lewis and wife Regina of Atoka, OK, Steven Bryant Lewis and wife Kirsten of Atoka, OK, Christopher James Lewis and wife Jackie of Colbert, OK; grandchildren, Ashton Nicole Lewis of Durant, OK, Ellianna Grace Lewis of Atoka, OK, Austin James Lewis of Madill, OK, Kenaniah Joel Douglas Lewis of Atoka, OK; brothers, Terry Don Callicoat and wife Barbara of Atoka, OK, Cecil Loyd Callicoat and wife Lauri of Atoka, OK; aunt, Virginia French of Oklahoma City, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Renay was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Callicoat; husband, Robert Lewis.
