Lois (Shug) Rector, born at Lane, Oklahoma on October 13, 1923, to parents Everett and Olly E. Yates. She passed away on January 11, 2011, at Medford, Oregon. Lois married to Jack Rector on August 21, 1943 in Roswell, New Mexico and moved to California, where she called home for over 50 years and loved to read, shop and visit with her family, when she could. She will be dearly missed. Lois is survived by her son, Roddy and Judy Rector of Medford, Oregon; daughter, Jullie Greene and David of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Matthew Paul Rector of Salinas, CA., Jessica Anne Greene of Tustin, CA., Erin Elizabeth and Thomas Jackson of Tustin, CA.; sister, Blanche Yates Simpson of Sacramento, CA.; along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rector; daughter, Jacqueline Kay Rector Lily Yates Thompson, Thelma Yates Burkhalter, Edith Yates McGinty, Jack Yates, and Oneal Yates.
