NAME: Lois (Roof) Stephens, age 100, a longtime Atoka, OK resident.

BORN: She was born on Monday, October 2, 1916, to Guy and Docia Belle (Choat) Roof, at Comanche, Co, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Lois passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Atoka, OK.

AGE: 100 years, 8 months and 4 days.

EDUCATION: She attended Eureka School.

OCCUPATION: Lois was a shoe saleswoman at Bernard's in Oklahoma City for numerous years.

MARRIED: She married the love of her life, Melvin Cecil Stephens at Lawton, OK. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1983.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Lois was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed working, cooking, sewing, baking, farm work, spending time with her family, traveling, going to church, driving fast and most of all, loved her 3 grandsons and great grandchildren. She however did not like milk or picking cotton.

along with many beloved cousins, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
