Lois Lorene (White) Tisdale, age 98, a lifelong Stringtown, OK resident, was born on Friday, November 28, 1919, to Brady and Matilda (Sanders) White, at Stringtown, OK. Lois passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Lewisville, TX. She attended and graduated from Stringtown Public School. Lois worked in production at the naval base in Savanna, OK, Blue Bell in Coalgate, OK and the family ranch. She married Joe Tisdale Jr. on Wednesday, July 19th, 1939 at Atoka, OK. They had 70 wonderful years together before his passing on February 24, 2009. Lois was a longtime member of Stringtown Baptist Church. She was active in RSVP Senior Citizens, very involved and a pillar of the church. Lois was a recipient of the Legacy Foundation Matriarch of Stringtown Award. Enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, flowers and crappie fishing.

Lois is survived by her sons, Joseph "JB" Tisdale and wife Margaret of Lake Dallas, TX, Jerry Paul Tisdale and wife Barbara of Bradenton, FL, Gene Tisdale and wife Diane of Lake Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Carrie Tisdale of Stringtown, OK, Rockie Tisdale and wife Margie of Sanger, TX, Tammy Tisdale Jackson and husband Cody of Lake Dallas, TX, David Tisdale and wife April of Sarasota, FL, Michael Tisdale and wife Tess of Sarasota, FL, Christy Tisdale Fletcher of Lake Dallas, TX, Angela Tisdale Perry and husband Jay of Sarasota, FL, Scott Tisdale of Stringtown, OK, Brad Tisdale and wife Brandy of Tushka, OK; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Tisdale Jr.; parents, Brady and Matilda White; son, Ronnie Tisdale; granddaughters, Melissa Tisdale and Deanna Farmer; sisters, Lilly Kirk, Ethel Bennett, Susie Shamley.
