Obituary Lola Mae (Stafford) Green, age 85 of Durant and a former lifelong Caney area resident, was born on May 21, 1926 at Aylesworth, Oklahoma to John Z. and Mamie L. (Carson) Stafford. She passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Oak Ridge Manor in Durant. Lola attended school in Mead, Oklahoma. She was a housewife and homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her passion was sewing and taking care of her grandkids and great grandkids. She liked to garden and can her own vegetables. She married Lloyd Thomas Green on October 25, 1943 at Paducah, Texas. He preceaded her in death on October 29, 2003. Lola was Penticostal Holliness faith. Lola is survived by her children, Carl Green and wife Judy of Caney,Ok., Wayne Green and wife Mary of Cobb, Ok., Ladelle Earley and husband Henry OF Durant, Ok., Loretta Head of Caney, Ok., Tresia Johnson and husband Larry, Dike, Tx.; siblings, Frances Gray of Caney, Ok.,Jeniva Jones and husband Al of Caney, Ok., Doris Williams of DeRidder, La., Betty Taylor and husband Jerry of Caney, Ok., Beekey Stafford and wife Pat of Gore, Ok., Johnny Stafford and wife Charlotte of Caney, Ok., Floyd Stafford and wife Pat of Tushka, Ok., 14 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
