Obituary

Obituary Lola "Dusty" Inez Milton, age 82, spent many years in Phoenix, AZ. and then Moore, OK., she always considered Oklahoma her home. She was born on Sunday, November 23, 1930, to William and Vera (Youngblood) Bridges, at Redden, OK. Dusty passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in Antlers, OK. She attended school in Redden. Dusty was a retired business owner of a transportation company. She married Melvin Milton on September 3, 1961. Dusty and her husband Mel lived in Phoenix Arizona for many years where they owned and operated Mel's Backhoe Service. In the 70's, she was featured on a local television station in Arizona in a program on "Women in Construction". Over the years they owned and operated numerous construction and trucking companies. After the passing of her husband in 2004, Dusty retired. She was baptized in the Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas and became active in the local senior center. She enjoyed bingo, dominoes and stretch classes, but her greatest joy was visiting and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Dusty is survived by her children, Linda M. Ryan and partner Jean de Leon of Parker, TX., Sally K. Ortner and husband Chuck of Newalla, OK., Ron Wesley and wife Reggi of Surprise, AZ., Rick Wesley and wife Debbie of Oklahoma City, OK.; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dusty was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vera (Youngblood) Bridges; husband, Melvin Milton; brothers, J. W.
