Obituary Lora "Jan" Janese Edge, age 74, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, February 27, 1938, to Millard and Mamie Elizabeth (Richardson) Mitchell, at Stringtown, OK. Jan passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Denison, TX. She graduated from Stringtown High School in 1956 the attended SOSU. Jan was an accounting clerk for SWB for 36 years she retired in Feb. 1989. She married Chester Edge in 1958 in Oklahoma City. Jan attended the First Baptist Church of Stringtown. She enjoyed quilting, reading, watching cooking shows and spending time with her grandchildren. Jan is survived by her daughters, Kaci Lamkin and husband Tom of Mont Belvieu, TX., Kara Edge-Walters of Atoka, OK.; son-in-law, Tom Stotler of Murfreesboro, TN.; father of her children, Chester Edge of Stringtown, OK.; siblings, Sally White of Parks, AR., Margaret Hogan of Bentley, OK., Helen Shields of Kiowa, OK., Irma Rains of Atoka, OK., Rena Workman and husband Jimmy of Caney, OK., Dorothy Carpenter of Atoka, OK., Glen Mitchell of Stringtown, OK., Jack McDaniel and wife Caroline of Russellville, AR.; grandchildren, Keith Stotler and wife Elaine of M urfreesboro, TN., Katie J. Stotler of M urfreesboro, TN., Kennedie Ryan Edge of Stringtown, OK., Kaitlynn Parker Lamkin of Mont Belvieu, TX.,Kade Allen Walters of Wapanucka, OK.; great grandchildren, Maycee Lamkin of Yukon, OK., Kaden Lamkin of Bethany, OK., Bentley Lamkin of Bethany, OK.; 17 nieces and nephews, 34 great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; and grand dogs, Jake, Tucker, and Lulu. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Mamie Elizabeth (Richardson) Mitchell; children, Franklin Edge and Kelley Stotler; brother, Richard Mitchell; grandson, Trey Lamkin.
