Obituary Loren E. "Butch" Mason, age 71, a Lane area resident, was born on December 13, 1939, to Loren and Elsie May (Braun) Kneeskern, at Milwaukee, WI. He was raised by Elsie and Albert Lee Mason. Loren passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Atoka, Ok. Loren was a Hydraulic Engineer. He married Carol Sue (Truempler) on July 24, 1961 at Bemidji, Mn. Loren was a member of the Assembly of God. Loren is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Sue Mason of the home in Lane, Ok.; children, Lori Knox and husband Michael of Atlanta, Tx., Loren E. Mason of Lane, Ok., Dawn Brown and husband Eddie of Atoka, Ok.; grandchildren, Amanda Spencer and husband Adam of Paris, Tx., Samuel Knox and wife Abby of Paris, Tx., Samantha Carnes and husband William of Tishomingo, Ok.; great granddaughter, Megan Marie Knox (His Baby) of Paris, Tx.; niece, Leonice Abbs and husband Vic of Wi.; brother, Abert Lee Mason and wife Joann of Ar.; sister, Cindy Oxberger and husband Harold of Id.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
