Illene (Lorentz) Dow, age 91, a Lane, OK resident. She was born on Sunday, January 11, 1931, to Russell Erwin and Dorethea Hazel (Parsley) Lorentz, at Indianapolis, IN. Loretta passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Atoka, OK. She attended Emince schools until graduating in 1950. She also attended college. Loretta was a housewife. She married Bobby Neal Dow on Tuesday, August 15th, 1950 at Martinsville, Indiana. They celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing on May 1, 2011. Loretta was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, watching basketball and NASCAR, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Loretta is survived by her brother David Dow and wife Debbie of Camp Verde, AZ; Daughter, Roberta Dow- Faulkenberry and husband Cleo of Lane, OK; grandchildren, Dennie, Ken Jr. and wife Sherry, Mary Ann and husband Justin, Angie and husband Billy, Scott and wife Tabitha, Jennifer; great grandchildren, Colby, Jason, Rebecca, Danielle, Lane, Mariah, Brittney, Dylan, Brandon, Andrew, Matthew, Nick, Mark, Katelynn and numerous great great grandchildren.
Loretta was preceded by her husband, Bobby Neal Dow; parents, Russell and Dorethea Hazel (Parsley) Lorentz; son, Kenny Dow Sr.; brother, Bud Lorentz; sister, Edith Below.
