Loretta Bell (McDaniel) Kent, age 87, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, July 5, 1934, to Hurley and Lenore (Lewis) McDaniel, at Bentley, OK. Loretta passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Durant, OK. She attended Atoka Public School. Loretta was a cook for many years in area restaurants and truck stops. She married Bobby Cole and then later, married George Kent. Loretta was a member of Caney Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed reading the paper every Wednesday, loved to cook for people, everybody said she had the best chicken and dumplings, cake, pies and any dessert.
Loretta is survived by her son, William Cole of the home in Atoka, OK; daughter, Vickie Lovejoy and husband Kenny Sr. of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Kenny Lovejoy Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, Frankie Lovejoy and wife Brandy of New Castle, OK, Amy Hicks of Atoka, OK, Bradley Cole of Atoka, OK; great grandchildren, Sebastian, Anthony, Ruth, Jake, Shane, Marissa, Mackeinzie, Michael; great great grandchildren, Quintessa, Layla; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Hurley and Lenore (Lewis) McDaniel; husbands, Bobby Cole, George Kent; sons, Jimmy Cole, Richard Cole, Bobby Cole; great grandson, William Samuel Cole; great great grandson, Quincy Jacobs; sisters, Ruth Crites, Viola Robbins, Betty Shores.
