OBITUARY NAME: Louis Harper, age 93, a longtime Farris, OK resident. BORN: He was born on Saturday, February 25, 1922, to Robert and Amanda (Gray) Harper, at Stratford, OK. PASSED AWAY: Louis passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Farris, OK. AGE: 93 years, 8 months and 23 days. EDUCATION: He attended Stonewall High School. OCCUPATION: Louis was a rancher and Aircraft painter at Tinker Air Force Base in OKC. MILITARY: Louis proudly served his country in The Army Air Force during World War II. MARRIED: He married Flora "Marie" (Hill) on Thursday, May 14th, 1942 at Coalgate, OK, they had 65 wonderful years together before she preceded him in death on May 5, 2008. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Louis was a member of Farris Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and raising game chickens. SURVIVED BY DAUGHTER: Ann Harper of Farris, OK SON: Roy Grisham and wife Kim of Watauga, TX SISTERS: Caroline Matheson and husband Clyde of Stillwater, OK Zona Miers of North Highland, CA GRANDCHILDREN: Don Little and wife Debbi of Edmond, OK Sarah Harper of Victoria, TX Hannan Galvin and husband Gus of Victoria, TX Brittany and Andrew Grisham of Watauga, TX GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Jeremy, Christa, Donovan and Nathan GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Anthony and Keenan along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
