Louise Sampley Moore, age 91, a Denison, TX resident, was born on Tuesday, September 1, 1931, to John and Jewel (Carson) Sampley, at Berwyn, OK. Louise passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Denison, TX. Louise graduated from Berwyn High School in 1949. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1953. She later received her Administration Certificate in Nursing Home Administration. Louise was a secretary to the Dean of Administration at OU while Bill was in law school. She was a co-owner and Administrator of Atoka Manor from 1966 when the Manor was founded to 1985. She married Bill J. Moore on Thursday, August 28th, 1952 at Gene Autry, OK. Louise was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Atoka and the Pink Iris Garden Club. She served on the Atoka Memorial Hospital Board of directors for 18 years.
Louise is survived by her children, Debi Tipton and husband Tony of Caney, OK, Jeff Moore and wife Carolyn of Alameda, CA; grandchildren, Kolton Tipton and Jade Mixon of Atoka, OK, Kamron Boggs and husband Aaron of McAlester, OK, Dominic Moore of Pittsburgh, PA, Kiera Moore of Alameda, CA; great grandchildren, Bella Palmer, Avery Tipton, Brandon Palmer, Case Tipton, Ellie Boggs, Baby Boy Boggs will be here very soon!; nephews, Chris Sampley and fiance Misty Brock of Ardmore, OK, Jason Sampley and wife Micia of Ardmore, OK, along with numerous cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jewel (Carson) Sampley; husband, Bill Moore; granddaughter, Katie Palmer; brother, Carson Sampley
