Lynda Jo King, age 59, an Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Wednesday, September 8, 1965, to Raymond Delmer and Thelma Carline (Moore) Hatfield, at Dallas, TX. Lynda passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Paris, TX. She attended Grapevine Public Schools then transferred to Ardmore High School where she graduated with the Class of '85. Lynda owned and operated Trinity Dog Grooming. She married Roger McCarl King on Tuesday, May 10th, 2006 at Atoka, Oklahoma. They celebrated 19 years of marriage together in May. Lynda was a Christian who held strong in her faith and her love for God. Lynda was proud to be a third generation dog groomer, she loved her shop and all her clients. Lynda believed in the ministry and allowing the word of God to work through her and what she believed to be "God's Shop". She would help any animal or person she could that came along her path. Lynda really loved her family, she enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandkids. In her downtime she enjoyed riding horses, fishing, hunting with her husband, Roger, cooking for and eating with her family and going to concerts.
Lynda is survived  by her husband, Roger McCarl King of the home in Atoka, OK; daughter, Samantha Jo Stiles and husband Brandon of Atoka, OK; step-daughters, Jessica Woods and husband Logan of Clarita, OK, Kara Burris of Coalgate, OK; step-son, Seth Tidwell and wife Beth of Lane, OK; granddaughter, Sage Josephine Stiles of Atoka, OK; grandsons, Ezra Cid Stiles of Atoka, OK, Luka Ray Stiles of Atoka, OK; 9 bonus grandchildren; step-sisters, Lori Godwin of Daytona Beach, FL, Michelle Godwin of San Francisco, CA; numerous fur babies she cherished and loved dearly; along with cousins, extended family, and many friends she considered family
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Delmer Hatfield and Thelma (Moore) Newland; brother, Paul Hatfield; sister, Sheila Hatfield; step-mom, Dottie Hatfield; step-dad, Jo Newland.
