Obituary Mabel Louise Lenning-Griffin, age 87, a Atoka, OK resident, She was born on Thursday, February 19, 1925, to Henry O. and Willie (Tew) Burgess, at Battiest, OK. Mabel passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Midwest City, OK. She attended School in Smithville, OK. Mabel was a LPN and worked for the OK. Medical Research Foundation. She married Roy Lenning in Tushka, he preceded her on April 26, 2005. Mabel married Raymond Joe Griffin in Tushka, he preceded her as well. She married Willie Cogburn in Arkansas. Mabel was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atoka. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, enjoyed fishing and dancing, Mabel owned and operated 2 business in Atoka. Mabel is survived by her husband, Willie Cogburn of Corpus Christi, TX.; son, James Lenning of Midwest City, OK.; brother, Ralph Burgess of Kansas; son-in-law, Tom Lemming of Moore, OK.; grandchildren, Caron Harvey and husband Mike of Moore, OK., Stephanie Lemming of Moore, OK., Ric Lemming and wife Melissa of Oklahoma City, OK., Jeff Lenning and wife UnYong of Maryland, Karlee Vail and husband Corey of Edmond, OK.; great grandchildren, Emily Lenning of Maryland, Addilyn Vail of Edmond, OK., Mackenzie Harvey of Moore, OK., Evan, Alex, Caroline, Aidan McCown of Moore, OK., Madelyn and William Lemming of Oklahoma City, OK.; along with other relatives, and dear friends.
