Obituary

Magdalene "Maggie" Sarah Kiedaisch, age 96, a lifelong Wardville, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, October 31, 1923, outside of Wardville, the fifth child, to Mack and Minnie (Shipman) Thompson, at Wardville, OK. Maggie went to heaven on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at McAlester, OK. She graduated from Limestone Gap High School, where she was a member of the women's basketball team. Maggie was a housewife and rancher primarily, she was also co-owner of Al's Atoka Jewelry Store in Atoka, assistant Post Mistress of Wardville Post Office, secretary-treasurer of Wardville Baptist Church and unofficial coordinator of Wardville community and church activities. She married Alvin Kiedaisch, whom she was married to for 40 years.
Maggie will be remembered as a talented woman, capable of fixing fence, rounding up cattle, upholstering furniture, painting a picture and keeping the peace in family communications. She was a doting grandmother and great grandmother, loyal and loving wife, mother and sibling, who demonstrated her love for her community, church and God in her everyday actions. Her final word to us all would be, "My love for you is eternal and unconditional."
Maggie is survived by her children, Alwin Kiedaisch and wife Barbara Slagle Kiedaisch of Tulsa, OK, Leah Kiedaisch Solomon of Bixby, OK; granddaughter, Sarah Solomon Turnbow; great granddaughter, Mallory Turnbow; great grandsons,  Hunter Maloney and Maxx Maloney of Tulsa, OK; sister, Ruth Thompson Newberry of Coalgate; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Maggie is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Minnie (Shipman) Thompson; husband, Alvin Kiedaisch; brothers, Norman, Mark, James and NY Thompson; sister,  Nora Thompson O'Toole.
