Malissa Marlene Wilson, age 50, an Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Thursday, September 6, 1973, to Michael Lee Arp and Raylene June (Carroll) Buren, at Key West, FL. Malissa passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at her home in Atoka, OK. She graduated from Mustang High School graduating with the class of 1991, Malissa went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in biology and a chemistry education. Malissa was a homemaker. She married Anthony Wilson on Friday, July 1st, 1994 at Penn and A Church of Christ in Atoka, OK
Malissa attended Wapanucka Church of Christ. She loved watching her girls play soccer, watching her grandkids, growing all kinds of things in her garden, and throwing shoes, she was very artistic and creative. Malissa loved all kinds of animals, especially her Dwarf Nigerian Goats, her Border Collies, and her cats.
Malissa is survived by her husband, Anthony Wilson of the home in Atoka, OK; daughters, Cassie Gregory and husband CJ of Atoka, OK, Rachel Wilson of Atoka,OK, Delaney Wilson of Atoka, OK; mother, Raylene Buren and husband Steve of Piedmont, OK; father, Michael Arp and wife Gayle of Moore, OK; brother, Steven Arp of Atoka, OK; sister, Amanda Sattre and husband William of Piedmont, OK; grandchildren, Charlotte Quinn Gregory, Clark Joseph Gregory, Carter Rose Gregory; niece and nephew, Myranda Sattre, Lane Sattre; in laws, Joe Ann Wilson and Dwayne Wilson,
along with numerous other family members and pets she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Marlene Carroll; uncle and aunt, Dan and Marleta Hardman; and cousins, Raygan Calvert, James Arp.
