IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Lou
Jackson
June 27, 1941 – December 21, 2021
Margaret Lou Jackson, age 80, an Ada, OK resident, was raised in the Crystal area, lived for several years in Antlers, Wanette and Francis, was born on Friday, June 27, 1941, to Ralph William and Nellie Mae (Anderson) Staneart, at Bakersfield, CA. Margaret passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Ada, OK. Margaret was a housewife and homemaker. She married James Ford Jackson, he preceded her in death. Margaret was of the Baptist faith and loved going to church until she just couldn't attend and loved to sing hymns. Margaret was a hard working lady even at 80. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Always making sure they were taken care of and providing what she could. She was constantly cleaning and enjoyed rearranging the furniture at home and eventually even at the care center. Margaret was also their entertainer. As a homemaker, she was always cooking, making clothes, making quilts, gardening and canning. Working in her flower garden gave her the most happiness to see all those flowers blooming. She loved her family and friends. She visited them every chance she could, but as her life changed and as her physical condition progressed, when she was no longer able to travel, her phone then became her lifeline to family and friends. She would spend hours a day talking to everyone she could, but as time went on, her struggle to call and visit became less and less for she would tire out and have to give in to the pain. Margaret went through life trying not to let people see her pain, but instead she was always trying to find ways to make you laugh and put a smile on your lips. For her, laughter was the best medicine. She would go out of her way even in pain to make people smile. Everyone Margaret met was a friend, she would visit with people and you would think she knew them just from the way they talked, when you would ask her who that was, she would say I don't know but they looked like they needed someone to talk to.
Margaret is survived by her children, William Kenneth Wheeler of Francis, OK, Lois (Wheeler) Graham and husband Nathan of Garland, TX, Larry James Wheeler and wife Minisa of Francis, OK; grandchildren, Randal Wade Wheeler, William James Wheeler and wife Brooke, Mathew Graham, Brandy Litson, Francis Marie Wheeler, Jonathan Wheeler; grandchildren, Trey Litson, Jordyn Litson, Emma Litson, Ryelynn Litson, Tyler Roy, Ryan Roy, Chris Roy, Sierra Roy, Claire Wheeler, Amelia Wheeler; siblings, Fay Gaskey, Judy Maggard, John Johnson, Edna Eldridge; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph William and Nellie Mae (Anderson) Staneart; husband, James Jackson; grandchildren, Lisa Nicole Wheeler, Miranda Nicole Wheeler; siblings, Kenneth Staneart, Linda Sue Johnson, Alice Staneart.
