BORN: She was born on Sunday, July 09, 1961, to James and Maryetta (Walz) Spence, at Leland, MS.

PASSED AWAY: Joy passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Durant, OK.

AGE: 55 years and 16 days.

EDUCATION: She graduated from Tushka High School in 1980.

OCCUPATION: Joy was a homemaker.

MARRIED: She married Bobby G. Thomas on November 4, 1992 in Tushka, OK. He precedes her in death on December 17, 2015.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Joy attended Ward's Chapel Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, painting, sewing, and reading. Joy also enjoyed picking berries in the summertime.
