Margie (Plumley) Foster, age 88, a longtime Bromide, OK resident. She was born on Friday, December 18, 1936, to Edward Lee and Ora Bell (Taylor) Plumley, at Sabinal, TX. Margie passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Coalgate, OK. She attended Bromide High School. Margie was a homemaker, worked for Madill Manufacturing Co., at The Trolley Cafe, at Kelli's Kitchen and The Wagon Wheel in Wapanucka. She married Medford Lee "Pete" Foster on Wednesday, December 8th, 1954 at Oklahoma City, OK. They spent 52 wonderful years together before his passing in 2006. Margie was of the Baptist faith. She loved her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, she was always cooking for all of her family and friends, going to casinos, dancing, riding motorcycles, and loved life to the fullest.
Margie is survived by her children, Kim Wood of Ada, OK, Steve Foster and wife Lisa of Bromide, OK, Kelli Brooks and husband Tommy of Wapanucka, OK, Stacy and Kim Foster of Bromide, OK, Kristi Green of Bromide, OK; longtime companion, Jerry Nay of Grove, OK; 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, Pete Plumley of Oklahoma City, OK, Gene Plumley and wife Leslie of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronnie Plumley of Oklahoma City, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lee and Ora Bell (Taylor) Plumley; husband, Pete Foster; daughters, Debbie Parnell, Angel Sartin, Lisa Foster; sister, Edna Inman; brother, Joe Plumley; son in laws, Pat Wood, Denny Hilburn, Guy Sartin
