Marilyn Sue Bowen, a Wardville resident, was born on October 31, 1954, to William Howard and Iona Mae (Raiburn) Bowen, at Dumas, Texas. She passed away on May 19, 2024, at her home in Wardville, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 19 days. Marilyn attended Lewisville Schools until her senior year then graduated at Dunbar High School. She was a secretary for several different companies and a homemaker. Marilyn was a member of the Parent Teacher Association for more than 30 years. She was in the band and a dance company during high school. Marilyn enjoyed working puzzles, making scrapbooks and watching game shows. She loved to decorate for every holiday. She has a huge collection of Coca Cola memorabilia.
