Marilyn (Brown) McNeal, age 62, a longtime Edmond, OK resident, formerly of Atoka, OK, was born on Saturday, November 29, 1958, to Napoleon and Maryetta (Johnson) Brown, at Atoka, OK. Marilyn passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School and went of to attend Oklahoma Christian College and later attended UCO. Marilyn was a customer service rep for Hertz for a number of years. She married Robert McNeal in June of 1989 at Oklahoma City, OK. They celebrated 32 years of marriage before her passing.
Marilyn was an avid reader, enjoyed playing racquet ball to exercise, enjoyed nature, one of her great loved was Weeble, her beloved dog, loved being with her family and her grandson was the light of her life.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Robert McNeal of the home in Edmond, OK; daughter, Kara McNeal of Edmond, OK; grandson, Damien Cane Brady McNeal of Edmond, OK; sisters, Carrie Franklin of Atoka, OK, Antionette Brown of Oklahoma City, OK; beloved dog, Weeble of the home; along with neices, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Napoleon and Maryetta (Johnson) Brown; brothers, Jack Brown, Royce Brown.
