Obituary Marilyn Joann Nowlin, age 77, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, June 19, 1935, to Armon and Mable (Andrews) Murphy, at Twin Falls, ID. Marilyn passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1954 then attended College. Marilyn was a Homemaker. She married Herbert David Nowlin on July 20, 1956 at Twin Falls, ID. Marilyn was a member of the Blackjack Baptist Church and a retired Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Herbert Nowlin of the home in Atoka, OK.; daughters, Katherine Cook and husband Billy of Anna, TX., Maryann Ihrig and husband Mike of Atoka, OK.; siblings, Catherine Beer of Twin Falls, ID., Larry Murphy and wife Linda of Pocatello, ID.; grandchildren, Mandy Airington and husband Tony of Lehigh, OK., David Logue and fiancé Stephanie Aills of Eulles, TX., Clint Logue of Atoka, OK., Kristi Ihrig of McComb, MS., Glen Durant of Durant, OK., Erin Durant of Durant, OK.;great grandchildren, Taylor Airington of Lehigh, OK., Katrina Airington of Lehigh, OK., Bailey Logue of Eulles, TX., Abby Ihrig of McComb, MS.; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
