HAMMER Carr, age 56, a lifelong Caney, OK resident was born on Friday, January 29, 1965, to Clinton Eugene and Hattie Elizabeth (McBride) Carr, at Durant, OK. Hammer passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Denison, TX. He graduated from Foothill High School and had an Associate's degree from Bakersfield college in CA. Hammer was an Evangelist, an oilfield worker, a line supervisor at J.C. Potters Co., and worked for Big Lots Warehouse as a Dock hand. He also owned Do Dads store in Atoka in 2002. He married Teresa Greer on August, 2, 1986 at Bakersfield, CA. Hammer was a Christian and attended Caney Freewill Baptist and the Caney Pentecostal Church. He spent his last years being an Evangelist and sharing the Lord's Word to many people. He loved watching the history channel and reading and studying over military history. Hammer enjoyed trains, drawing, playing football, and was a junker.

Hammer is survived by his parents, Clinton and Hattie Elizabeth (McBride) Carr of Caney; daughters, Cindel Selby and husband Shawn of Atoka, Tabitha Carr of South Dakota; grandchildren, Adalynn, Corbin, and Cash Selby of Atoka, OK, Ty Boomsma of South Dakota; brother, Brian Carr and wife Dani of Bakersfield, CA; nephews, Kody, Dalton, and Mitchell Carr of Bakersfield, CA. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many dear and loved friends.

Hammer is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion Clinton and Willie Lavern Carr and Thomas and Sally McBride.
