Marion Fredrick Mobbs, age 78, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, October 22, 1935, to Jess and Artie (Jordan) Mobbs, at Atoka County, OK. Marion passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Grassy Lake Elementary then graduated from Atoka High School in 1955. Marion was a cattle rancher, peanut farmer, drove an Atoka School bus, and worked at the J.D. Fine Candy Company and Bunte Candy Company. He married Lois (Bagby) Justus) on May 27, 1956 in Durant, OK. Marion later married Edith (Ned) Cagle on July 27, 1978 in Mena, Arkansas. He was a longtime member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Marion enjoyed playing dominoes, bluegrass music, and visiting with friends at the Truck Stop. Marion is survived by his wife, Edith Mobbs of the home in Atoka, OK.; children, Michael Mobbs and wife Glenda of Bentley, OK., Mark Mobbs and wife Vickie of Atoka, OK., Kristy Mobbs and husband Keith Southerland of Atoka, OK.; mother of his children, Lois Justus of Atoka, OK.; stepson, Alvin Cagle and wife Faye of Coalgate, OK.; sisters, Virginia Haney and husband Al of McKinney, TX., Ruby Gammon and husband Troy of Bentley, OK.; grandchildren, Shelly Ryan and husband Michael of Atoka, OK., Ashley Willis and husband RD of Lane, OK., Michael "Bubba" Mobbs of Bentley, OK., Fillip Mobbs and wife Tabatha of Atoka, OK., Bryan Mobbs of Coalgate, OK., Jesse Mobbs of Atoka, OK., Jared Mobbs of Atoka, OK., Kelsey Mobbs of Atoka, OK.; step grandchildren, Jason Cagle and wife Amy of Morris, OK., Shane Cagle and wife Brady of Coalgate, OK., CheyAnne Clifft and husband Jade of Crowder, OK., Rachel Wood and husband Jeremy of Mannsville, OK.; 13 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
