"Marki" Kay (Rhyne) Mask

OBITUARY

Myra Kay “Marki” (Rhyne) Mask, an Ada resident, was born on July 19, 1937, to Allie Gayle Antie and Kathryn (Rodgers) Rhyne, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed away on April 1, 2026, at her home in Ada, at the age of 88 years, 8 months and 13 days. Marki graduated from High School in Lubbock, Texas, in 1955. She furthered her education at the University of North Texas State with a Bachelors Degree in Home Economics. Marki taught Home Economics at Plano High School. She married Travis David Mask on March 28, 1959. They were blessed with 67 years together. Marki was a loving homemaker and raised her children. They were very active in the Methodist Church of Coalgate. Marki sang in the choir and was asked to sing solos for many friends and family. She was on the building committee that built the church sanctuary. Marki loved to cook, especially, making homemade bread. Orchids were her favorite flower. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
