Mary Jane Allen, age 80, a Lane, OK resident. She was born on Thursday, April 13, 1944, to Floyd Everette "Doc" and Johnnie (Gibson) Meeker, at Danville, IL. Mary (Janie) passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School in 1962. Mary (Janie) was a housewife and homemaker. She worked for many years at Ethan Allen Manufacturing where she retired as a supervisor. She married DeWayne Allen in December of 1961 in Atoka, Oklahoma. Mary (Janie) loved antiquing and thrifting. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, and hunting & collecting rocks. Mary (Janie) was really fond of the great-grandchildren.
Mary (Janie) is survived by her husband, DeWayne Allen of Lane, OK, children, Gerald Allen of Lane, OK, Darrell Allen of Mena, AR; grandkids, Traci Allen of Lane, OK, Tanner Allen of Loveland, CO, Teneshia Hester of Hugo, OK, Mandy Allison of Hugo, OK; great grandkids, Kingston, Birdie, Natalie, Tranden, Aubree; great great grandkids, Blakelie; along with numerous other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Mary (Janie) was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Everette "Doc" and Johnnie (Gibson) Meeker; daughter in law, Denise Allen; great grandson, Kyler Allen.
