Mary Elizabeth (Rose) Baker, age 68, a Winnsboro, TX resident. She was born on Monday, January 27, 1958, to George William and Molly Imojean (Mounce) Rose, at Dallas, TX. Mary passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Dallas, TX. She attended Wylie Middle School and Garland High School. Mary was a process engineering tech at Texas Instruments, Defense Division and retired in 2017. She married Gregory Lyn Baker on December 31, 1998 at Plano, TX before the Justice of the Peace. They celebrated over 27 years of marriage. Mary was a non denomination christian. She enjoyed reading her scriptures every morning and every evening. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping, shopping, billiards, volunteering her time, a member of the VFW where she volunteered her cooking and was a patriotic instructor, and loved spending time with and taking care of her family.
Mary is survived by her husband, Gregory Lyn Baker of the home in Winnsboro, TX; daughter, Summer Butler and husband Matt of Dallas, TX; son, Daniel William Clark and Allison Tiffert of Aubrey, TX; granddaughter, Karra Nicole Clark of Celina, TX; stepdaughters, Audrey Evans and husband Tom of Richardson, TX, Amanda Baker of Dallas, TX; siblings, Eddy Fanning and husband Randy of Kemp, TX, Becky Burks and family of Rowlett, TX, Deanna Drumm and family of Weatherford, TX, Rick Rose and wife Rhonda and Family of Caney, OK, Gary Klepper and wife Patty of Lakewood, CO; father in law, Eugene Baker of Winnsboro, TX; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George William Rose and Molly Imojean (Mounce) Wood; foster mother and father, Marie and Jake Klepper; mother in law, Mary L. Baker; siblings, Eddie Fields, Beverly Fields, Gerry Rose, Debra Rose; brothers in law, Gary Burks, Rick Drumm Sr.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives
