Mary Ellen Bush, age 72, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, December 7, 1950, to Delbert and Dorothy (Ragon) McInis, at Belton, TX. Mary passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Richardson, TX. She graduated from Belton High School in Belton, TX. Mary was a housewife and homemaker, she also owned Workouts for Women for several years. She married Kenneth Ray Bush on Friday, April 20th, 1973 at Ennis, TX. They celebrated 42 wonderful years together before his passing on September 24, 2015. Mary was a member of Temple Lighthouse and Lifechangers Church. She enjoyed watching game shows and loved spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her sons, Daniel Bush of Atoka, OK, Craig Bush and wife Sheila of Baxter Springs, KS, Joshua Bush and wife Reva of Lane, OK; grandchildren, Tristian Bush of Baxter Springs, KS, Dravyn Bush of Baxter Springs, KS, Libbie Bush of Lane, OK, Dayzi Bush of Lane, OK, Dani Rai Ski Bush of Atoka, OK, Kacey Howell of Commerce, TX, Ashlie Murphy and husband Ray of Quinlan, TX; sister, Jonnie Harper and husband Doug of Irving, TX; along with great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Dorothy (Ragon) McInis; husband, Kenneth Ray Bush; sister, Gladys Lee Hudson; infant brother, Melton Andrew McInis; daughter, Tonya Howell; niece, Vickie Lynn Tapley.
