Mary Sue (Elliott) Nowlin, age 76, a Lane, OK resident, was born on Monday, December 31, 1945, to Bud and Mary Kathryn (Leuty) Elliott, at Atoka, OK. Mary passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Plano, TX. She attended Tushka High School. Mary was a homemaker. She married Ted Nowlin on Monday, July 27th, 1964 at Durant, OK. They celebrated 53 wonderful years together before his passing in 2017. Mary was of the Baptist faith and attended Church of The Rock. She enjoyed watching soap-operas, sewing, raising dogs, cooking, baking cakes, and most of all spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her children, Teddy Nowlin and wife Judy of Atoka, OK, Jody Nowlin of Lane, OK, Travis Nowlin of Oklahoma City, OK, Tammy Clouse of Durant, OK; siblings, Lou Draper of Atoka, OK, Jerry Elliott of Atoka, OK, Robert Elliott and wife Padgett of Duncan, OK, Alma Bell and husband Glen of Atoka, OK, Jan Moon of Atoka, OK, along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded by her parents, Bud and Mary Kathryn (Leuty) Elliott; husband, Ted Nowlin; sisters, Shirley Steer, Kathy Jones
