Mary Elizabeth Sego-Davenport, age 81, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, August 28, 1941, to John and Leona (Flatt) Newton, at Prescott, AZ. Mary passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Oklahoma City, OK. She graduated high school in Cottonwood, AZ. Mary was a housewife and homemaker. She married Marvin Lloyd Sego on March 28, 1958 at Arizona, he preceded her in death and she later married Loyd Wayne Davenport in 1973 at Atoka, he also preceded her in death. Mary was raised Church of Christ and later became non denominational. She loved flowers, her pets (that was her kids, Goldie and Buttons), and her grandchildren, hunting, camping, fishing and playing pool with friends.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Debbie Wilson and husband Cecil of Atoka, OK, Coleen Hogan of Atoka, OK, Sheri Nakanashi and husband Mick of Atoka, OK, Lloydell Miller and husband Brett of Tulsa, OK; dear friend, Frank Henderson of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Amie Wilson Pate and husband John of Durant, OK, Kevin Wilson and wife Ashley of Atoka, OK, Melva Mitchell Green and husband Chris of Florida, Kalem Fuller of Coalgate, OK, Laura Ritchie and husband Shane of Atoka, OK, Leslie Eaves and husband Spike of Lane, OK, Benjamin Hogan of Ada, OK, Mark Hines of N. Carolina, Dustin Hines of Tulsa, OK, Brandon Hines and wife Vanessa of Tulsa, OK, Chad Miller and wife Annie of Tulsa, OK, Lauren Miller of Tulsa, OK; 23 great grandchildren, along with numerous cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona (Flatt) Newton; husbands, Marvin Lloyd Sego, Loyd Wayne Davenport; brothers, Anthony Newton, Billy Newton; grandson, Bradley Miller.
