Mary Lee Thomas, age 84, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, January 8, 1939, to Earnest and Ella (Cooper) Beaver in Talihina, OK. Mary went to Heaven on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Oklahoma City, OK. She received her GED and attended Chilocco Boarding School. Mary was an ordained Minister. She married Gordon Eugene Thomas in 1959, they spent 20 wonderful years together before his passing in 1979. Mary was a devout Christian from a young age. She was devoted to Christ and attended many churches in her lifetime including Hobbs, NM, Houston, TX, Mexia, TX, and Atoka, OK. She taught Sunday School, many women's Bible studies, and had various ministries during her life. Her latest ministry was Living Trees Ministries. She became an ordained minister through God's Handmaidens in 2000. Mary loved teaching the Bible and witnessing Christ to people. She loved reading, sewing, flower arrangements, board games, card games, garage selling, and going to church.

She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Ann Stone and husband Kirk of Louisville, KY, Anita Byas-Kenney and husband Ralph of Durant, OK, Barbara Jean Thomas of Ruidoso, NM, Marsha Lynn Fletcher and husband Dale of Choctaw, OK; sons, Francis Mack Thomas of Torrington, WY, Stanley Allen Thomas of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Samantha Lawson, Nicholas Stone, Charissa Dowling, Jared Byas, Monica Olivarez, Michelle Smith, Matthew George, Jayson Thomas, Nacolla Reyes; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Linda King of Groesbeck, TX; brother, Michael Beaver and wife Sally of Calera, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Eugene Thomas; parents, Earnest and Ella (Cooper) Beaver; grandson, Jeffrey Anderson, along with several brothers and sisters.
