Marzell (Sisson) Curtis, age 82, a lifelong Atoka and Coalgate County, OK resident, was born on Monday, February 8, 1937, to Ralph E. and Pearl (Bench) Sisson, at Bentley, OK. Marzell passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Coalgate, OK. She attended Bentley Grade School and graduated from Atoka High School in 1955. Marzell was a homemaker and housewife. She married Howard Curtis who preceded her in death in 1988. Marzell attended Lehigh Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening and sewing.
Marzell is survived by her brother, T.J. Sisson of Atoka, OK; along with a niece, several nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Marzell is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Curtis; parents, Ralph and Pearl (Bench) Sisson; brothers, R.L. Sisson, Delbert Sisson; sister, Maysele Mayo.
