Mickey Dale Scott, age 54, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, November 23, 1967, to Gene and Dora (Kennedy) Scott, at Okarche, OK. Mickey passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Stringtown, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School. Mickey retired from DOC after 20 years and was working as a security guard for Choctaw. He married Tena (Wilson) in 1998 at Carthage, MO. They celebrated 24 years of marriage. Mickey was a member of First Baptist in Durant, OK. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, messing around the house and playing with the grandchildren.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Tena Scott of the home in Atoka, OK; mother that raised him, Donna Scott of Ada, OK; father, Gene Scott of Atoka, OK; son, Dustin Eagleberger and wife Tamra of Atoka, OK; daughter, Christen Lee and husband Parker of Silo, OK; brother, John Scott and wife Kaci of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Harlow Lee and Ross Lee of Silo, OK; mother in law, Janie Parks of Atoka, OK; father in law, Bobby Wilson and wife Brenda of Farris, OK; brother in law, Ted Wilson and wife Dana of Bixby, OK; sister in law, Kelly Ingrum and husband Randy of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Mickey was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Kennedy Scott; son, Shane Scott; grandparents, Marie and Gurnie Scott, Oreta and Roy Kennedy.
