Mildred Daffin, age 91, a Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, May 24, 1922, to Floyd and Mary "Mollie"Evelyn (Williams) Estep, at Anna, TX. Mildred passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Atoka, OK. She attended elementary school in Anna, TX. and then Atoka High School. Mildred was a homemaker. Mildred married Willard "Rusty" Callicoat on November 8, 1940, in Bentley, OK. he preceded her in death in 1957. Later she married Clifton Daffin on April 1, 1958, in Atoka, OK. he preceded her on April 15, 1987. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atoka and a member of the VFW women's auxillary. Mildred enjoyed gardening, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends.Mildred is survived by her children, Jimmy Daffin of Weleetka, OK., Larry Callicoat and wife Debbie of Atoka, OK., Eugene "Bo" Daffin and wife Linda of Lavon, TX., Deborah Norris and husband Ken of Atoka, OK.; son-in-law, Raymond Dyson of Longview, TX.; sister, Ruth Clement of Bentley, OK.; grandchildren, Angelique Champelli and husband Jon of Las Vegas, NV., Leah Miller and husband Che of Duncan, OK., Rusty Callicoat and wife Melanie of Tulsa, OK., Tabitha Bishop and husband Adam of Richardson, TX., Brandi Brown and husband Andy of McKinney, TX., Jeremy Daffin and wife Elizabeth of Allen, TX., Robby Daffin and wife Jessie of Lavon, TX., Kasia Swanson and husband Brian of Wylie, TX., Dusty Norris of Norman, OK., Mollie Williams and husband Jayson of McAlester, OK., Holly Fontenot and husband Ted of Longview, TX.; great grandchildren, Christopher Powers and wife Catherine of FL., Jordan Powers of Purcell, OK., Krista Price and husband Tim of Longview, TX., Natalie, Lexie Jane, and Hunter Everett all of Longview, TX., Kira Champelli of Las Vegas, NV., Gabriel Bishop of Richardson, TX., Layne, Dylan, and Landry Brown of McKinney, TX., Cade, Colin, Cody, and Cole Swanson of Wylie, TX., Alexis Daffin of Allen, TX., Ava and Ruby Miller, Duncan, Colin, and Landon Callicoat of Tulsa, OK., Gage and Gabriella Williams of McAlester, OK., Brennley Daffin of Lavon, TX.; great great grandchildren, Cassidy and Coleton Powers of FL., Liam Price of Longview, TX.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mollie Estep; husbands, Willard Callicoat and Clifton Daffin; daughter, June (Callicoat) Dyson; grandsons, Monte and Matthew Powers; daughter-in-law, Gilda Daffin; great grandchildren, Baby Powers and Tomhi Norris; siblings, Paris, Ode, Mack, Roy, Don, and Kenneth Estep, Ethel Southard, Myrtle Murray, Hazel Tobler, and Ruby Pruit; sister-in-law, Viola (Callicoat) Scott. ****************************************************************************** DATE OF SERVICES: 2:00 AM Thursday, October 31st, 2013 PLACE OF SERVICES: Brown's Funeral Chapel, Atoka, Oklahoma OFFICIATING: Bro.
